Getting Started
ProdigyChain is a platform where young talents can create and trade digital collectible cards called ProdigyCards representing their personal profiles and achievements. These cards are secured on a blockchain for authenticity. ProdigyChain is designed for a variety of users -- from student athletes and emerging musicians/artists looking to showcase and monetize their talent, to collectors and fans who want to invest in future stars, as well as sports organizations, agents, scouts, and coaches interested in discovering and supporting new talent.
Who can sign up? Anyone can join as one of four user types:
- Athlete: Student-athletes creating cards
- Collector: Fans/parents buying cards
- Organization: Schools or teams fundraising for their organizations
- Industry: Scouts/agents/brands stay up on young talents
What you’ll need:
- First and last name
- Valid email address
- Password
- Date of birth (if under 18, you’ll also need a guardian’s email and their cooperation)
- Nationality
- Profile photo
- Optional: Current organization (school, club, team) and social media handles
Quick signup options: You can quickly create an account using Google, Apple, or other supported social logins, and add details later.
Important: Certain details (like your name, email, and date of birth) are locked after signup for security reasons, so be sure to enter them correctly.

Yes. You must be at least 14 years old to create a ProdigyChain account. Users under 18 will need a parent or legal guardian involved in the signup and verification process. If you’re under 18, your guardian will need to provide consent and help with identity verification (KYC) on your behalf, as required by our payment partner (Stripe). This policy ensures we comply with legal regulations and protect young users. Each person is limited to one account for security and fairness.
No. Each person is limited to one ProdigyChain account for fairness and security. Multiple accounts by the same individual are not allowed. This ensures that everyone has a single identity on the platform and prevents abuse.
For Athletes
Creating Your ProdigyCard:
- Go to “Create Card” or “My ProdigyCards” → “Design New Card”
- Choose a card template
- Upload and edit your photo (crop, remove background, add shadows)
- Fill in front details (name, jersey number, title, positon)
- Complete the back (stats, bio, achievements, blurb)
- Preview both sides using “Flip”
- Submit for approval
What you can customize:
- Front: Your photo, name, team/title, number, position, graduation year/draft class, Nationality
- Back: Stats, bio, achievements, signature
- Photo effects: Background removal, athlete shadow
Important notes:
- Your first series of cards is free from the template
- Custom cards have a $50 fee
- Complete the design in one session or you’ll lose progress
- Cards go to admin review (typically 24 hours)
- If you’re under 18, guardian must be verified first
When you create a card series, you get 5 cards total:
- 4 cards you can auction or sell
- 1 card kept by ProdigyChain vault to preserve your legacy
- Each of the 5 cards is 1-of-1 unique with different colors and stickers
- We recommend holding at least 1 card for yourself
- You can purchase additional custom cards, or different templates
You can sell your ProdigyCard in two ways:
Direct Sale:
- Set a fixed price (at least $50)
- First person to pay gets it
- Instant sale
Auction:
- Set a starting time/date (we recommend at least a few days in the future for promotion)
- Set starting bid price (at least $50)
- 24-hour duration (fixed)
- Highest bidder wins
- $5 minimum bid increments
For athletes 18 or older:
- Complete Stripe identity verification
- Provide legal name, address, date of birth
- Last 4 digits of SSN (US) or national ID
- Sometimes a photo ID
- Connect bank account for payouts
For athletes under 18:
- Enter guardian’s email during signup
- Guardian receives verification email
- Guardian creates their own account and verifies identity
- Guardian confirms relationship
- Once complete, you can sell cards
While waiting for guardian verification, you can:
- Browse and buy cards
- Design your ProdigyCard
- Explore the marketplace
You cannot sell or auction cards until guardian verification is complete.
For Athletes - NIL Compliance
Yes. Selling or auctioning your ProdigyCards on ProdigyChain is a perfectly legal NIL activity under NCAA rules - as long as you follow NIL guidelines. ProdigyCards are real products (digital collectibles) that fans purchase because they value your brand and talent. This is exactly the kind of legitimate NIL deal that is meant to be permitted and protected.
There’s no arbitrary cap on how much you can earn from ProdigyCard sales or auctions. The NCAA doesn’t limit your earnings, so long as the amount paid iscommensurate with market value. An open marketplace like an auction helps establish a fair market price.
Just remember to report any single sale or series of sales totaling $600+ through the NIL GO portal (www.nilgo.com) for approval. Once cleared, you can confidently pocket the earnings from your auctions and card sales.
As a student-athlete, you are ultimately responsible for following NIL rules. Here are key compliance steps:
- Disclose and report your deals: Report any ProdigyCard deal worth $600 or more through the NIL GO system (www.nilgo.com), usually within 5 business days
- Follow school policies: No missing classes or practice for NIL activities, no promoting restricted products (gambling, alcohol)
- Get permission for school branding: If using school logos, uniforms, or trademarks on ProdigyCards, get written permission first
- Ensure it’s a real deal: You’re delivering a digital card that fans want, which satisfies the “something of value” requirement
- No pay-for-play: Keep NIL deals separate from performance and recruitment. Cards can’t be explicitly tied to athletic achievements or college choices
Special note for international students: If you’re on a visa, check with your school’s compliance office and international student advisors before doing NIL activities. You may be able to monetize your NIL if earnings are from outside the U.S. or via a foreign entity. Feel free to reach out to us for guidance - support@prodigychain.ai
ProdigyChain was built with NCAA compliance in mind from Day One. The platform ensures that any ProdigyCard you sell or auction is a legitimate transaction: a fan or collector gets a real product, and you get paid fairly for your talent and effort. Features like transparent auctions and documented transactions make it easy to report your NIL earnings when needed. Our goal is for you to grow your personal brand and income confidently, without ever putting your college eligibility at risk.
Buying & Collecting Cards
To buy a ProdigyCard, visit the ProdigyChain Marketplace on our platform. Once you find a card you want:
Direct Sale:
- Click “Buy for $X”
- Enter payment details
- Confirm purchase
- Card instantly appears in your collection
Auction:
- Enter bid amount (minimum $5 above current high bid)
- Submit bid (requires saved payment method)
- Get notified if outbid
- If you win, you’re automatically charged
- Card transfers to your collection
Payment: You’ll pay using regular payment methods (credit or debit card) through Stripe checkout. All prices are in standard currency (e.g., USD). Stripe is a trusted, enterprise-grade payments platform that provides bank-level security to safely process and manage online transactions worldwide.
No, not at all. Even though ProdigyCards are blockchain-backed, ProdigyChain is designed to be user-friendly for non-crypto users. You do not need to buy cryptocurrency or have an external crypto wallet. All transactions are done in normal currency via familiar payment methods like credit/debit cards. The blockchain runs in the background to ensure authenticity and ownership.
Requirements:
- Must be logged in
- For direct purchases: Enter payment at checkout
- For auctions: Must have saved payment method before bidding
Payment methods accepted:
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) via Stripe, our payments processing partner
- No PayPal or cryptocurrency currently
Absolutely yes! If you purchase a ProdigyCard, you become its owner on the blockchain and can resell or trade it on the ProdigyChain marketplace. You can list the card for sale (fixed price or auction) just like the original creator would. Once it sells to a new buyer, you receive the proceeds (minus marketplace fee) and the card transfers to the new owner. The original creator may also receive a royalty from secondary sales in some cases.
For Collectors
Use the marketplace filters and sorting options:
- Filter by: All, Auctions only, Direct Sales only
- Sort by: Price, Time Remaining, Recently Added
- Search: By athlete name or card name
Your purchased cards appear in My ProdigyCards → Acquired tab (your “Vault”)
No - ProdigyCards are digital collectibles stored in your account on the blockchain.
For Scouts, Coaches & Organizations
Scouts, coaches, and agents can use ProdigyChain as a tool to discover and track emerging talent. By browsing the marketplace and user profiles, you can:
- Find up-and-coming student athletes or artists
- View ProdigyCards with stats, achievements, and personalized items
- Follow market trends to identify hot prospects
- Purchase cards to be an early supporter of talent you believe in
- Leverage the verified environment to ensure profiles are legitimate
Yes! Sports organizations can:
- Support their athletes: Encourage and assist athletes in signing up and creating ProdigyCards for NIL monetization
- Verify profiles: Help verify athlete profiles and promote their students’ cards to the community
- Benefit financially: Athletes might choose to allocate a portion of card sales to their school’s program
- Increase visibility: Having athletes on ProdigyChain can increase a program’s visibility to scouts and sponsors
- Create custom auctions: Set percentage distributions between your organization and players for fundraising events
Launch special brand partnerships: Organizations can go beyond being beneficiaries in student-athlete fundraisers by initiating special auctions as Brands together with ProdigyChain. Yes, we can create a special Auctions for your program or event. Our custom fundraising tool is designed for schools, organizations, and brands, featuring white-label ProdigyCards with customizable beneficiary selection. Through that, you can maximize your fundraising success and secure endorsement deals through enhanced engagement with Custom ProdigyCards. To make your request, please fill this form.
Selling Your Cards
ProdigyChain provides custom-designed social media share cards for promoting your auctions and sales. Different share cards are available for each stage:
- Pre-launch announcements (“A ProdigyCard sale is launching soon!”)
- Live sale alerts (“My ProdigyCard sale is LIVE!”)
- Post-sale celebrations (“My ProdigyCard just SOLD!”)
- Buyer appreciation (“Proud new owner of this ProdigyCard!”)
Tips for effective promotion:
- Set your auction date at least a week in the future for promotion time
- Post consistently throughout your auction period
- Use Instagram Stories to create countdown timers
- Engage with comments and questions about your card
- Cross-promote on all your social platforms
- Direct Sales: Immediately after purchase
- Auctions: After auction ends and winner pays
- Funds go to your Stripe account, then to your connected bank account (typically 1-2 business days)
ProdigyChain takes a small commission from sales. Exact percentage shown when listing. Stripe also deducts small payment processing fees.
Custom Card Design Service
Beyond our standard templates, we offer professional custom card design services. Our expert designers will create a completely unique, personalized card tailored to your vision. Great for commemorating specific moments like winning MVP, committing to a university, or winning a championship.
- Submit your request through the card creation process
- Provide detailed descriptions of what you want
- Include reference images, links, or inspiration materials

- Card goes through normal approval process
Cost: $50 fee for custom card design.
Turnaround time: Typically 48 hours
What to provide:
- Visual style preferences (colors, themes, layouts)

- Any text, quotes, or special details
- Sports/team themes or personal branding
Account & Support
Common issues and solutions:
- Blurry or dark photo: Retake in good lighting
- Expired ID: Use valid, non-expired government ID
- Name mismatch: Use your legal name exactly as on ID
- Under 18: Guardian needs to complete verification with their ID

Check the following:
- Ensure you’re using an accepted payment method
- Contact your bank (they may be flagging the charge)
- Verify card details are correct and card hasn’t expired
- Check for sufficient funds
Failed charges will not result in you being charged. You might see temporary pending charges that will reverse automatically.
Can edit:

Cannot edit (locked for security):

Contact support if you need to change locked information.
To delete your account, contact ProdigyChain support via email,support@prodigychain.ai, or the contact form. Account deletion is permanent - you will lose any ProdigyCards in your collection. Consider selling or transferring them before deleting. All your data, profile, and linked Stripe information will be wiped from our systems.
Trouble Shooting
The “Continue” button won’t work during signup. Check for error messages in red. Common issues:
- Names can’t have numbers or symbols
- Email must be in valid format
- Guardian email required if you’re under 18
Guardian verification email not received
- Check spam folder
- Go to Guardian Info → “Resend Email”
- Wait 30 seconds between attempts
- Contact support if email address is wrong
App crashes or freezes
- Check internet connection
- Close and reopen page
- Try different browser
- Clear cache
Card not showing after purchase
- Refresh the page or log out/in
- Check you’re in “Acquired” tab, not “Designed”
- Verify purchase confirmation email received
- Contact support@prodigychain.ai if still missing
Bid rejected
- Refresh page to see current bid
- Ensure you’re adding at least $5 to current high bid
- Enter numbers only (no $ or commas)
- Someone may have bid right before you

ProdigyChain implements comprehensive security measures including encryption, multi-factor authentication, secure development practices, and regular security audits. We process data in accordance with GDPR and maintain strict data minimization principles, especially for minors. Your data is only shared with essential service providers (like Stripe for payments) and never sold to third parties.
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

Yes, we use essential cookies for platform functionality and, with your consent, analytics cookies to improve our services. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they’re necessary for the platform to work.
Platform Restrictions & Compliance
Users must not:
- Upload unlawful, defamatory, or inappropriate content
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Impersonate others or falsify information
- Attempt to circumvent age verification or guardian consent
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Use the platform for any illegal purposes
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Yes, ProdigyChain reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Use, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose risks to the platform or other users. We may also remove content, ProdigyCards, or benefits without prior notice if they violate our terms.
Disputes are first addressed through good faith negotiations. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are settled through arbitration in accordance with Slovak Bar Association rules. The proceedings will be in English and held in Bratislava, Slovakia. Consumer disputes may be handled by Slovak courts.
ProdigyChain provides the platform “as is” and disclaims warranties regarding uninterrupted service or transaction success. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or issues beyond our reasonable control. Users acknowledge risks associated with digital collectibles and blockchain technology.
International Users
While browsing is available worldwide, selling ProdigyCards requires Stripe verification, which is currently available in the United States and select European countries. Check Stripe’s supported countries for the most current list: https://stripe.com/en-pl/global.
Personal data may be processed in locations where ProdigyChain, affiliates, or service providers operate. We ensure international transfers comply with GDPR through adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other appropriate safeguards.
